Senior Architect Cloud Platforms (m/f/d)

Summary We are looking for an experienced developer/architecture personality with a deep understanding of modern cloud platforms, especially in the field of containerization, and a strategic view for hybrid infrastructures. In this role, you take global architectural responsibility in the Public Cloud area and run an international Competence Center professionally to design and develop standards, guidelines and roadmaps worldwide. You decisively shape the future orientation of our cloud platform and control central transformation programs in the hybrid cloud environment. Tasks Global architectural responsibility in the area of cloud platforms Technical responsibility in the field of container services within the cloud team Definition, development and operation as well as company-wide standardization of global public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, AliCloud, ...) Strategic control of virtual expert teams from different regions Architectural leadership in the development and automation of platform, operating and deployment processes Ensuring the integration of security, compliance and governance requirements into the public cloud architecture Close cooperation with Lead Architect Public Cloud to create a consistent global hybrid cloud strategy Strategic selection, evaluation and control of external service providers and technology partners Advising IT and business stakeholders with regard to architectural principles, roadmaps and technological decisions

Your profile Education: Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification Professional experience: Long-standing experience (min. 5 years) in strategic architectural responsibility for public cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure scenarios / Kubernetes as well as in full-stack development with focus on Kubernetes, AKS / EKS Expertise: Deep technical understanding of cloud and on-prem platforms and their integration into global hybrid cloud landscapes Long-standing experience with automation and infrastructure‐as code technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Azure DevOps) Knowledge of IT security, network, compliance and infrastructure governance High competence in the management of international stakeholders and in the enforcement of architecture-relevant decisions

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: High level of self-responsibility, structured working and communication strength Strong analytical and conceptual skills and process orientation Self-employed and structured procedures
