In this position, the development of new products in the environment of ground-based air transport, from the first concept to the approval, actively contributes to the development of new products and promotes the field of ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering. In this context, you will support the concipation, development, analysis and optimisation of inno­vative as well as useful human-machine interfaces (HMI) / human-machine interactions (MMI). The analysis of the context of use, the definition of the provisions and standards to be applied, as well as the implementation of ergonomics analyses and workshops, are part of your task, as well as the establishment of evidence or the application and establishment of human-created development methods. In addition, you may also assist in product safety activities, such as safety and risk analysis, and thus contribute to the further development of safe and usable products. Through your experience and your use, you will ensure both the user-friendly operation and the safety and convenience of our products; support the conversion of technical safety and product safety.

A successfully completed technical master's degree or a technical degree is the ideal precondition for this position. In addition, you could acquire several years of professional experience in the field of ergonomics/human factor engineering, at best in the field of military technology (e.g. ISO 9241, MIL-STD-1472). Furthermore, you have experience in the fields of systems engineering, product safety and technical work protection, as well as in the application of corresponding tools and methods.
