At the Helmholtz Institute Münster, Ion Head for Energy Storage (IMD-4 / HI-MS), we focus on electrolyte research as a key area for future battery concepts. The main research activities include the design, synthesis, characterization and processing of more demanding battery electrolytes and chemicals. We are located at the Münster office of the Forschungszentrum JÃ1⁄4lich and work closely with the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU) and the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH). It is thus possible for us to bundle the expertise in battery research and to drive this important future of electrolyte research considerably. They work in a state-of-the-art laboratory environment and actively participate in the first stage of a new research project. Your tasks in detail: They plan and organize the dismantling, relocation and re-establishment of scientific equipment They are responsible for the proper disposal of waste chemicals and defective equipment They ensure the professional handling of chemicals, i.e. their handling, transport and storage, The coordination of the operation and re-establishment of laboratories and offices takes place in close coordination with the local user groups. In consultation with the person responsible, you will be able to carry out regular inspections of the safety equipment.
