The Grone Education Centres of Lower Saxony gGmbH support people in their professional and social integration. For the implementation of the measure “Pick up”, we are looking for two dedicated social pedagogues (m/w/d) for the 07.09.2026.

Full time | Parttime flexible

The place is limited until 06.09.2027. An extension is provided or possible.

Tasks

As part of the “Pick up” action, you will accompany people with special support needs on their way back into social participation, education and employment. The target group is capable of working with often complex problems and switching obstacles.

Your tasks include:

• Looking for social work and the production of initial contacts
• Individual individual coaching and social education
• Building sustainable relationships of trust and motivation
• Support for the dismantling of switching barriers
• Communication and support to network partners, consultancy agencies, authorities and Jobcenter terminals
• Development of individual perspectives for integration into work, training or further support services
• Creating and updating individual coaching plans
• Documentation of development processes and cooperation with the job center's integration specialists

Your profile

They have:

• a completed study of social education, social work, medical education, rehabilitation education or special education (Diplom, Bachelor or Master) or a comparable recognized qualification in accordance with performance description
• ideally experience in working with people remote from the labour market, people with multiple problems or in the SGB II context
• strong communication and consulting skills
• Empathy, resilience and intercultural competence
• independent and structured operation
• willingness to work in the regional environment
• good knowledge of documentation and handling digital applications
• Class B driving licence
