As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. IT-Consultant in the area of Digital Technology (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. The Center of Excellence Consulting of the BWI acts as a trusted and established partner of the Bundeswehr. As part of the IT system house of the Bundeswehr, we work for and together with our military customers on the development of our armed forces. As a pioneer, we design the digital nervous system of the armed forces, develop IT strategies and accompany digitization projects. The 'Digital Technology' consulting area offers comprehensive consulting in the Analytics & Simulation fields to enable data-driven decisions, Cloud & Infrastructure to create scalable and secure IT environments, and Communication & Transmission to ensure efficient and reliable information flows. We are a professional team with flat hierarchies as well as diverse possibilities of professional development. Recording and analysis of customer requirements at the level of business requirements, documentation of analysis results with different tools Implementation of HIT/MISS analyses of existing IT services in an IT service-oriented development landscape Description and specification of requirements for new or advanced IT services Conducting Mark Analysis on Market Available or Developing Innovative IT Solutions Analysis of best practices on the part of the manufacturer as part of the creation of solutions Creation of project-accompanying technical documentation for complex system landscapes with different tools in different detail depths Technical support for projects throughout the life cycle – from planning to implementation Ensuring compliance with quality standards, IT security policies and compliance requirements Identification of new technologies and trends and their integration into existing systems

Completed subject-related university studies in computer science/economic informatics, natural science, technology (MINT) or the like Multiannual professional experience in the development of business and IT architectures or as Solution Architect (min. 2 J. after studies / 5 J. after training) Knowledge of modern technologies such as cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure), container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) or IT security solutions Experience in dealing with architecture styles such as Microservices or Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (preferably NAFv4, ADMBw) Communication strength and the ability to explain complex technical contexts in a comprehensible way Ideally, knowledge of the specific requirements of the public sector or of the Bundeswehr Embossed customer orientation, initiative, creativity and result orientation Particularly pronounced communication and social competence Willingness to travel
