In order to support our team in the department, we are looking for you as a technical speaker or technical speaker for large-scale and heavy transport (w/m/d).

As a technical speaker or technical speaker in the field of large-scale and heavy-duty transport, you take over the technical processing and decision of applications for large-scale and heavy transport. Here you carry out structural and technical-mechanical calculations on bridge structures. These include, in particular, static evaluations and calculations using GST.Autobahn as well as the computational and analytical evaluation of transport-specific load images. You examine the requested routes in detail and evaluate them taking into account current, planned and dynamic construction site situations. In addition, in close coordination with the adjacent branches, you will develop so-called GST corridors to ensure suitable and loadable transport routes. Your duties also include voting with the external offices as well as other bodies involved in the design, route and traffic conditions. On the basis of your technical reviews, you define the conditions and conditions necessary for carrying out the transports. You support the team leadership in technical issues and coordination in the field of large-scale and heavy transport. In doing so, you process complex situations and develop solutions for challenging transport situations together with the parties, for example if heavy transport routes are no longer accessible due to bridge or construction site situations and no alternative routes are available. In addition, you will process press and media requests related to large-scale and heavy transport. To this end, you will develop expert opinions and work on internal and external enquiries and coordinate them closely with the relevant executives. Another focus of your activity is the processing of applications on the basis of §§ 29(3) StVO in conjunction with §§ 44 and 46(1), 2 and 5 StVO. You evaluate transport-specific load images with respect to axle loads, axle distances and total weights and check the requested travel paths taking into account the current construction site situation.

You have a completed (special) degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or static engineering. Alternatively, you have equivalent expertise, qualifications and practical experience that you qualify for the exercise of your activity. You have a comprehensive knowledge of the relevant legal bases, in particular Sections 29 and 46 StVO, the Administrative Regulation on the Road Transport Order (VwV-StVO) and adjacent administrative and technical regulations. In addition, you have well-founded knowledge in dealing with discretionary decisions, discretionary error teaching and legal assessment of complex facts. You are able to draw up legally binding opinions and traffic regulations and to establish legal certainty. You have in-depth expertise in the field of large-scale and heavy transport, in particular with regard to axle loads, structural uniformity, aerodynamic features, alternative drives and special technical configurations. Technical data and calculations can be analyzed professionally and translated into legal reviews. In addition, you will bring process and organizational competence in the further development, optimization and standardization of procedures in the field of approval and approval procedures according to §§ 29 and 46 StVO. You are able to release traffic regulations independently and to carry out the legal examination, discretion and liability assessment independently.

That would be desirable: Ideally, you have experience in dealing with conflicting complaint situations as well as in communicating with lawyers and economically significant applicants.
