Mathematics often sounds like pure theory. With us it becomes a tool for real economic decisions. You connect your studies with practical experience and see how numbers, models and analyses have concrete effects in the company. You can flexibly design your application with a focus on analytical financial topics: Finance & Controlling: We plan and monitor the company's key figures and finances (including numerical evaluation, budget planning, accounting). Banking & financial products: From costing to implementation - here we manage our banking processes and products. Risk management: Together we estimate the financial and other risks to business (including risk analysis, valuation, market monitoring).

You start August 1st. You expect 6 study semesters at the TU Braunschweig and 2 practical semesters with us. Practical semester at VWFS: You work in various disciplines and use analytical methods to prepare decisions and improve processes. Student project: You implement your own topics and gather experience in structured analysis and project work. In-house seminars: You help you to understand theoretical knowledge in practice.

You can expect that from your studies: The study at the TU Braunschweig combines mathematics, economics and analytical methods to give an overall understanding: Mathematical Basics & Methods: You learn to mathematically describe and solve complex problems using models and methods. Financial Engineering & Financial Systems: You develop understanding of the calculation and evaluation of financial products. Economics: You will gain insight into operational processes and learn the principles of corporate governance and market relationships. Data-based methods: You learn to analyze data, then process it and convert it into models. Practical and project components: Varied seminars and projects give you the opportunity to use your knowledge directly in practice and continuously develop it.

You have at least the general university maturity. Your last two testimonials are at least 2.33. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1 level). Interest in mathematics, economy and analytical issues. Motivation to understand complex relationships. Own and structured operation. Teamability and reliability.

Attractive remuneration of monthly over 1,900 euros at 35 hours per week and 30 days vacation. We'll take your tuition fees.
