For the organization unit Testcenter basic services we are looking for the next possible appointment for the Hannover or Münster site Engineer and specialist focus on HOST/ Batch (m/w/d).

The Testcenter Basic Services department provides test environments for customer-specific OSPlus test institutes, for individual customers such as NORD/LB, LBBW, DKB and LBSen. We are also responsible for the application testing operation of the ETAPS Institutes in the Sparkassen customer segment. Through our methods and tools we ensure optimal usability of the test environments and ensure high system availability, as a prerequisite for individual testing of our internal and external customers. We work independently in a solution-oriented, open and well-established team and look forward to welcoming new enthusiastic colleagues.

Ensuring the availability of (test) environments and monitoring of round runs according to specific requirements Support in the sequence control e.g. on the host, planning and control of workflows in the IWS performing fault analyses and correcting standard faults Participation in the implementation of requirements for the (test) environments Quality control of the results according to customer orders and the demand-oriented integrative operation of infrastructures Accompanying release operations, mergers and migrations

Completed training as a specialist system integration or completed at least three years of professional STEM vocational training Representative expertise and at least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a comprehensive technical field First experiences in databases and scripting, as well as with transaction-intensive applications are advantageous Curiosity and interest in the mainframe Analytical thinking and problem-solving competence Teamability and social competence in dealing with a wide range of interlocutors High level of responsibility and initiative
