Welcome to our interdisciplinary children's intensive care station A.218 at UKSH, Campus Lübeck!

Our neonatological and paediatric intensive care unit A.218 is located in the parent-child centre. Our nursing team provides paediatric patients of all ages, as well as early and newborns (PNZ Level 1) with various diseases.

The area of responsibility includes the intensive medical treatment and care of patients and the care of parents and relatives. The close cooperation with the medical colleagues and many other professional groups is part of everyday life. If necessary, we take care of external emergencies and of new and early births from other birth clinics and drive intensive transport with the baby doctor car.

• Grouping up to KR 9 TV-L (with specialist training), in the event of compliance with the tariff conditions

This is what awaits you:

• Supply and care of intensified neonatological and paediatric patients with a wide variety of illnesses, currently 12 intensive and IMC courses

• Active support and co-design of nursing and organizational processes

• Cooperative and collaborative cooperation in the interdisciplinary team

• Regular reanimation and simulation training

• Recording and laying from external clinics with the baby emergency medical trolley or helicopter transport

Take this with you:

• A completed training as a nursing specialist / nursing professional, health care and child care professional / health care and child care professional (or child care nurse) or a completed nursing course (BSc.N.)

• Ideally, child intensive training, IMC further education or willingness to acquire it

• An independent and organised way of working

• Special sensitivity and understanding and empathy to our small and large patients and their parents and relatives

• Ready to use in the 3-layer system
