As part of the central risk management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), you are actively involved in the operation and further development of the risk management system – with the aim of establishing this as an effective control and management instrument at KIT. In close cooperation with the Management of Risk Management, you take responsibility – from operational process management to strategic development. A special focus of your activity is on the digitization and optimization of the risk management process. Coordination and monitoring of the risk management process: You cooperate in the planning, implementation and follow-up of individual process steps. Consultation and support of stakeholders: With your method skills, you will be able to provide advice to the stakeholders in risk management in the collection, identification and assessment of risks. You are in direct contact with the lines of different organizational units. Digitalization of risk management: You design the digital transformation of the risk management process by selecting, introducing and adapting an IT solution. Analysis and quality assurance: You check the risk reports received, analyze them, prepare them structuredly and contribute to quality assurance. Creation of reports and presentations: You cooperate in creating the risk report and prepare presentations based on it. Risk communication and knowledge transfer: You develop information materials and design training formats to promote a consistent risk understanding at KIT.

Concept and development: You bring your ideas into the strategic development of risk management and support the formulation and implementation of concrete measures.

You have: a completed university degree (Bachelor) of business administration, economics or business information. relevant professional experience in risk management or similar areas as well as ideally knowledge in the digitization of processes or introduction of IT systems. deepened knowledge in handling MS Office applications, especially MS-Excel. a structured, careful and reliable operation. a pronounced analytical thinking capacity. Team skills, conflict and communication skills. Own initiative and co-development will. IT affinity and interest in digitizing processes. very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing.
