You keep our waters moving: You take over the central coordination of the entire water retention in the garden and civil engineering office – with regard to safety, flood protection, ecological quality, and sustainability. You plan sustainable water development: For around 130 kilometres of second order (GEW II), you will start water conservation plans. In doing so, you agree to develop and maintain measures closely with our operating and approval authorities – and develop concepts for controlling invasive plant species (neophytes). You look closely: you carry out water visions, monitor monitoring procedures and make sure that the waters in the city area are safe and develop ecologically well. You digitize our water: you build a digital water disaster and reliably collect relevant data – such as control structures, bridges or potential danger points.

You have completed your studies in the field of civil engineering, water engineering, water management/success engineering, hydrology or in a comparable course of study. You have basic knowledge in handling geoinformation system software such as QGIS or ArcGIS. Ideally, you have knowledge of the ecological and natural conservation of water and development and are familiar with the Water Budget Act, the Baden-Württemberg Water Act and the Nature Conservation Act. You have a strong problem solving capability and can safely analyze, structure and illustrate information. You recognize technical, ecological and legal relationships and bring analytical thinking. Reliable and responsible work is of course for you. You work on your own initiative, team-oriented and actively contribute to the common goal. You communicate clearly and constructively and can control your task.

An indefinite job in full time (39 hrs. week) with payment up to pay group 11 TVöD, depending on the presence of your personal requirements.
