The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380 and 220 kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we take over the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The primary objective is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation with high plant availability. The support area extends across Baden-Württemberg or along our construction projects of the HVDC systems (e.g. Ultranet, SuedLink, Northwest Link, SuedWestLink). They support the local plant operators in the operation and maintenance of HVDC control systems as an operating specialist in the later operational and operational phase. They are the central contact person for operational questions for the operation and maintenance of HVDC control systems as part of the planning and construction in the DC projects “Nord- und Suedwestlink”. They conduct and coordinate professional working groups in order to collect and track relevant questions and solutions in all performance phases (education) of the DC projects “North and Southwestlink”. They create and develop the operating and maintenance concepts for the electrical operation and maintenance of the HVDC control systems of the TransnetBW, thereby shaping processes or regulating documents and taking into account aspects of the work and environmental protection, even during the performance phases of the construction. They coordinate the maintenance work and destructive measures as well as corresponding service projects with service providers and also take over the time and cost monitoring in the later operating phase. They manage and plan costs for future maintenance budgets on operational measures in HVDC management systems.

You have an engineering degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification acquired by professional experience. They have basic expertise on the HVDC technical system. They ideally bring deeper knowledge in the operation and maintenance of HVDC systems. They are characterized by analytical, systematic and process-oriented thinking, team spirit and bring an independent and responsible way of working. They have good English skills in word and writing and have a class B licence.
