Head of Simulation & Platform Solutions (m/w/d)

You are responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the Simulation and Platform Solutions (m/w/d) department in the field of services. They ensure the necessary qualification of employees and support their professional and personal development. They are responsible for the orientation of the department along the strategic and technological business objectives. This also includes active tracking of trends in simulation and communication. You plan and optimize the necessary resources and their use taking into account a multi-project and product environment. They are also responsible for the post-occupation of jobs and the management of annual employee talks. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of your department's goals. You control and monitor compliance with the service processes in your area of responsibility and are responsible for the continuous improvement of applied standards and processes. The completion of the agreed services within the department is also your responsibility. They represent all personal economic concerns of the department inward and outward.

You can demonstrate a successfully completed engineering and technical studies in an STEM area. You also have well-founded professional experience in system integration and/or simulation. Knowledge of leadership and weapons deployment systems on ships and boats from international navals and other military contractors is desirable. Extensive knowledge and competencies in the situational leadership, motivation and further development of employees will help you. They promote teamwork and open and constructive communication between employees. Multiannual experience in the technical management of multinational or foreign teams and employees is desirable. In addition to self-responsibility and enforcement, safe occurrence as well as pronounced resilience and flexibility are your strengths. They are motivated to advance changes and to promote innovation in our responsibility. Structured recording of complex and abstract relationships in technical and organizational systems is easy for you. You could already demonstrate very good analytical and conceptual skills. They have knowledge of German and English in word and writing and bring an open and tolerant appearance to customers of different nationalities. The readiness for regular national and international missions completes your profile.
