IT Solution Architect Manufacturing & Intralogistics (m/f/d)

From the shopfloor directly into the IT architecture: As an IT Solution Architect, you are the technical head in our IT organization for the production and intralogistics sector. You translate operational challenges into intelligent IT architectures and drive the digital transformation of our worldwide works.

You translate complex operational challenges of the Shopfloor into intelligent, scalable IT solutions and ensure that each solution meets the strategic requirements of our digital agenda. You are responsible for the operationalization of IT vision and technical governance and evaluate the global roadmap based on its technical feasibility, potential risks and system-based dependencies. As a central entity for our global system landscape, you define and monitor binding quality gates through the consistent application of Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) and thus ensure the architectural conformity and a standardized quality of our solutions across the entire implementation process. In your role, you close the gap between Enterprise Architecture and the operating business by working out deeper concepts for our applications (SAP PP, EWM, MES) and representing them as a navigator for the areas of expertise. You prepare complex technical issues as well-founded decision bases for top management and take responsibility for technical risk management within company-critical initiatives.

You bring a completed study of (economic) informatics, engineering or a comparable qualification/training with many years of professional experience in IT Deep expertise in SAP PP or EWM as well as experience in module integration and MES connection. Safe handling of interface architectures and definition of technical standards. Founded coding expertise (ideally ABAP) to control technical discussions, analysis of complex logics and implementation of code reviews. Methods and tools of agile project management such as Scrum, SAFe or DoR and DoD are familiar to you in the application to enterprise levels and you are an experienced moderator*in for strategic workshops. Embossed communication capability – safe handling of contact persons: inside all levels, from shopfloor to C level. Occasional readiness to travel to international works. You communicate in German (min. C1) and English (min. C1).
