Development Engineer Mechatronics - Encoder Systems (m/f/d)

Expansion and further development of the product portfolio of mechatronic components in the field of electric motors Technical evaluation and specification of rotary encoders for different engine and drive configurations Definition of product specifications and ensuring mechanical and electromagnetic compatibility with our products Ensuring mechanical integration (installation/construction space concepts, interfaces) taking into account aspects of functional safety identifying trends and changes and deriving appropriate measures for product and portfolio Close coordination with relevant interfaces (including engine design, development drive electronics, product management, purchasing, quality assurance) Accompanying patterns and product qualifications incl. Definition of qualification processes and criteria Technical coordination with suppliers and clarification of technical details Participation in system requirements, project guidance and other product and project-specific documentation Analysis of requirements for encoder systems and design of a structured data system (e.g. for variants, interfaces, parameters)

Complete study of mechatronics or a comparable qualification with strong mechatronic reference Multiannual, relevant professional experience in drive technology, sensor technology or in the environment of electrical machines Good understanding of common encoder types and of motor feedback systems and their system integration Secure handling of CAD (SOLIDWORKS) and PDM Embossed technical understanding, safe in reading technical drawings, routined in MS Office Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Analytical, Structured Operation Communication strength and secure cooperation with interfaces (e.g. development, purchasing, quality, suppliers)
