Trainee International Corporates (f/m/d)

The trainee program lasts 18 months and starts on 1. October 2026 Your application is focused on the International Corporates and Specialty Lending organization unit in Hamburg, which offers Europe-wide Leveraged Finance solutions for corporate customers as well as tailor-made specialty lease structures You gain a sound knowledge of business analysis, legal structures and financial modeling for leveraged finance transactions and gain insights into current transactions, customer appointments, portfolio management and risk assessment You will be part of an internationally established team with diverse backgrounds at the Hamburg, London and Luxembourg locations – consisting of experienced experts: You get the opportunity to participate in international Leveraged Financial and Specialty Loan transactions, develop your analytical and financial modelling skills and gain valuable insights into customer work, credit processes and real transactions You actively shape your development path and hospitierst based on an individual development plan in selected interface areas of the bank You are planned in the long term: After successful completion of the trainee program, your takeover is fixed You get regular feedback and benefit from intensive care by:n Mentor:in the field You will develop further in a targeted manner: Our training program will help you develop professionally and personally continuously

You have completed university studies – preferably in business administration, economics or a comparable degree course with a focus on Finance & Accounting Ideally, you have a professional training and/or relevant professional experience with You have preferably completed relevant internships in Corporate Finance in Germany or abroad; international experience through internships or a semester abroad is advantageous You have very good English skills; German knowledge is desirable, but no requirement – further European language skills are a plus You have a high interest and strong motivation to build a career in Leveraged Finance and in financing international corporate customers, and feel comfortable in a dynamic working environment You ideally bring a CFA qualification or have the ambition to acquire it You have strong technical skills and ideally already have knowledge of financial modelling; a safe handling of Excel, the MS‐Office suite and other tools is advantageous You draw your attention through a strong customer orientation, recognize customer needs and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, combined with a high service orientation You think creatively and innovatively, work efficiently and purposefully and convince by a high degree of commitment and outcome orientation You are happy to look beyond your task – both professionally and with regard to your personal development
