Commissioning Manager Energy Generation Plants (m/f/d)

We accompany customers from industry and energy production in the development and implementation of solutions for decarbonization – from conception to high-speed industrial plants: from electricity and heat generation through the generation and use of hydrogen and synthetic fuels to the realization of synergies through sector coupling. If you have experience in safely operating process engineering energy systems and bringing complex large-scale installations to run in a structured manner, you will design the energy transition with us – right in the heart of the projects. You want to take responsibility where planning becomes a reality? Do you enjoy running complex systems safely, structuring processes and leading commissioning processes to a successful handover? You will then design the energy transition with us – in the heart of the projects. We occupy this role at all Drees & Summer locations, please give us your preference. The projects are located in northern Germany and require related travel activities. Own-sponsored control of the commissioning of process engineering plants for energy production (e.g. electrolysis plants, synthesis plants, power plants) Plausibility and time monitoring of the commissioning, testing and sample operating plans as well as the resource planning of participating actors Control and coordination of all parties involved in commissioning (enterprises, OEMs, authorities, ZÜS, TÜV, operators) Monitoring and maintenance of safety-relevant tests, detection measurements, functional tests and HAZOP measures Process control of CE compliance: requesting proofs and documents from OEM and specialist companies, time-limit control Processual monitoring of the phases mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, cold & hot commissioning to the successful start-up Regular presence at the construction site to ensure the smooth running and interface coordination Monitoring compliance with approval procedures, operator training and safety concepts Interface management between technical structures, automation and supply systems and operator structures

Complete technical studies in the field of process engineering, mechanical engineering, construction or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the commissioning of energy or industrial plants (e.g. power plant technology, hydrogen, process heat, PtX) Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations: CE marking, ZÜS Experience in cooperation with OEMs, authorities, specialist management and operator teams Designed appointment and interface skills, moderation strength, travel and construction site readiness. Ideally reliable German and/or very good English skills Self-employed, structured working, pronounced communication strength and team capacity
