With HeRo (Hellmann Road), we develop our new transport management system for European land transport. In our team Commercial Management we are responsible for the costing of freight costs and revenues. The system will be used daily to evaluate thousands of shipments. You work in a cross-functional product team with product owners, UX designers and other developers. You build it, you run it.

Develop microservices that reflect our logistics processes – Focus Backend, but also in the front end Deeply into cost structures and tariffs Working closely with experts from logistics Secure code quality through reviews and pair programming Take responsibility for your services from development to operation – incl. CI/CD, Monitoring and Incident Handling Tech Stack Backend: Java, Kotlin, Kafka Frontend: Angular, Angular Material Databases: MongoDB/DocumentDB, PostgreSQL Platform: AWS, Kubernetes, EKS Observability: Prometheus, Grafana

Must: Solid experience in backend development with Java and/or Kotlin Knowledge of TypeScript for Frontend Development Understanding Microservice Architectures Experience with Spring Boat Knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS, Kubernetes) desire to understand the logistics domain German language skills Nice to have: Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Kafka Experience with Angular Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana We also use JEE / Wildfly for the operation of an externally purchased component.
