Senior Technician - Test & Validation in Research & Development (m/f/d)

You support the mechanical, electrical design of test and test levels to validate R&D developments. You conduct quality tests and validations for newly developed machine and process technologies in coordination with development engineers. You serve measuring and testing equipment, e.g. power/torque sensors, high-speed cameras, data loggers, temperature measuring systems. You implement function, load, service life and process capability tests on prototypes and process machines, in the shopfloor and in the laboratory. You'll start in the measuring laboratory, among other things, grinding images and you'll carry out microscopic analyses. You support, using root-cause analyses, errors in test setups and test carriers. You support the parameterization and optimization of test setups and test benches, including sensor technology, control parameters, measurement technology. You make recommendations on technical questions. You'll be testing procedures, test instructions and documentation. You'll start trial protocols and test reports.

Training in mechatronics, mechanics or electronics as well as a completed specialist training for masters or technicians or a comparable qualification Experience in the design and operation of test stands Experience in commissioning is advantageous knowledge of measuring and testing equipment (e.g. multimeter, oscilloscope, force sensors, data loggers) and data acquisition systems Basic knowledge of statistical data analysis (DoE, CpK analyses, Gage R&R, SPC, JMP, Minitab, etc.) Team player with very good communication skills Great care and good organizational ability Ability to structure problem analysis and solution finding Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
