For our Hamburg location we are looking for you as:

TSL Manager (m/w/d) Your future tasks:

• Personnel management and operational control: You lead the TSL/LCL gateway team in Germany, are responsible for the budget and are actively involved in day-to-day business to ensure and optimise operational processes and improve quality.
• Tariff and Purchasing Management: You set up export tariffs for LCL, coordinate import conditions and optimize purchasing through rat negotiations and allocation agreements with service providers.
• Financial analysis: You conduct profit-&-loss analyses to evaluate the economy.
• Strategic product development LCL: You drive the strategic development of the German LCL products by building new collection containers and coload consolidations, expanding existing traffic and developing new trade lanes in cooperation with overseas.
• Hub concepts: You develop hub concepts including pre- and post-running calculations for the network.
• Communication & Reporting: You're looking for close exchange with sales and purchasing, communicating intensively with national branches and overseas and reporting to the German and European TSL management.
• Data processing: You will start presentations and statistics to support decision-making.

What we want from you:

• Education: You have completed a training as a merchant / merchant for forwarding and logistics services, forwarding businessman / forwarding businessman (m/w/d), a logistical study or something comparable.
• Experience: You bring several years of professional experience, especially in the field of sea freight.
• LCL specialist: You are experienced in the handling of LCL gateway shipments and consolidations.
• Leadership experience: The management of an operating team is familiar to you.
• Strong communication & strategic: You communicate, easily connect to different partners and connect operational routines with strategic tasks.
