With „Die Burg“ the Social Work Heuser operates a health education facility for people with mental disabilities in Burglengenfeld. Inhabitants: You live on a historical castle grounds as well as outdoor living groups and are accompanied individually in their everyday design, social participation and development. The aim is to promote self-employment and to enable a stable life perspective.

You accompany adult people with mental impairment in the everyday life of a housing group You support day structure, everyday management and social participation You can participate in day-structuring offerings and promotional measures (e.g. creative workshops, employment opportunities) You build dependable relationships with the inhabitants: both up and work resource-oriented You support documentation and help and development processes You work closely in the interdisciplinary team and with external departments
