In the area of International Stock Steering as the core area of Category Management Steering, OBI focuses on the strategic management of stocks. We take care of the comprehensive inventory management of the ranges and initiate necessary measures, such as marketing scenarios, in close cooperation with purchasing. In times of increasingly complex procurement situations and markets, inventory management is increasingly becoming a strategic focus. Obi accordingly seeks talented, committed, number-affine & conceptually strong employees to master this exciting and challenging task.

Stock control: Monitoring and control of inventory levels for your responsible range

Quantity planning: Creation of comprehensive purchasing volumes planning and monitoring of the subsequent goods flows

Project management: Control of cross-area and cross-border (partial) projects to optimize goods flows

Action derivation: Identification of action needs and development of action packages, such as sales promotions for stock reduction

Process optimization: conception and optimization of marketing scenarios as well as processes for regular product changes

Qualification: Successfully completed economic studies or comparable training

Professional experience: Influential experience in consulting, strategy department or purchasing a well-known commercial or consumer goods company

Language knowledge: flowing English knowledge in word and writing for daily cooperation in an international environment

Analytical capacity: Strong analytical competence and sound practice in fact-driven and data-driven decision-making

Thinking: Ability to Conceptual and Structured Action Considering Entrepreneurial Total Relationships

Communication: Embossed communicative skills and a solution-oriented way of working in the team
