Here at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg we produce components of electromobility, axles and axle components, steering columns, components of exhaust gas technology and lightweight structural components. These are installed in almost all Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans vehicles as well as other OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) on five continents. The tasks of logistics planning at the Hamburg plant include process planning via the complete supply chain from the supplier to the customer with a focus on factory logistics. The team is also responsible for cargo carrier planning. These challenges include: Working with the development and planning of exciting logistics processes in small and larger projects Economic considerations Cooperation with the project and work package management in team, departmental and cross-work logistics projects Working on continuous improvement processes and workshops Implementation of own small projects for process optimization, e.g. in the field of production supply, push-up control, warehouse design, route planning, etc. Working in complex calls for logistics services Working in the digitization of planning processes Support for day-to-day business The internship can begin from September 2025
