They are responsible for managing and controlling the assembly and preservation/denkmalcare department with currently 11 employees and ensure the strategic and future-oriented orientation and further development of the specialist group, in particular with regard to topics such as digitalization and process optimization. They take over the tasks of the lower construction supervisory authority and advise project managers as well as residents (d/m/w) in particular in demanding construction and planning matters. They represent the topics of the specialist group in the relevant specialist committee. They have a sovereign communication as well as professional appearance towards property, lawyers (d/m/w), investment and political representations. They are responsible for financial responsibility for the personnel and resources allocated to the group. They lead to appreciation and participative. A change in the range of tasks is reserved.

You have a completed university degree (Master/Diplom) in the field of architecture, civil engineering or a comparable degree of related engineering studies with the focus on construction or another suitable subject with reference to the job profile. They have acquired well-founded expertise in building regulations and building planning law as well as in the right to monuments - e.g. by a referendum. They have a strong communication and cooperation capability, a keen decision and negotiation and organisational competence. A relevant professional experience in the field of construction regulations and leadership experience would be desirable, ideally in the municipal environment. They think and act economically.
