Senior Project Buyer for Major Projects (m/f/d)

As Senior Project Purchaser for Large Projects (m/w/d), you take responsibility for the entire purchasing process of our complex large-scale projects with a high investment volume. It offers varied tasks and cooperation with executives as well as interdisciplinary disciplines. Other tasks: You develop and implement project-related procurement strategies that support our major projects economically and efficiently. Supplier management allows you to select suitable partners, perform audits and establish regular performance reviews. National and international tenders and award procedures will guide you through and accompany contract negotiations until successful completion. You observe the market, analyze trends and maintain a strong network of suppliers and entrepreneurs to identify current developments at an early stage. The project planning actively assists you with the early analysis of purchase-related processes and takes over the claim and warranty management during the project execution.

You have completed university studies (Bachelor) in economic engineering, business administration with a focus on purchasing/logistics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with additional business qualification and at least 5 years of experience in the acquisition of large-scale projects. Finding knowledge in procurement and contract law, as well as a strong technical understanding, secure project management skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working. Experience in dealing with digital procurement tools and eSourcing platforms will also bring you good knowledge of German as well as knowledge of English in word and writing. Your skills in MS Excel (including Power Query, Pivot, VBA) as well as ideally in SAP S/4HANA (module MM) are called advanced. High communication and negotiation competence, conflict resolution competence and a strong customer and service orientation towards internal stakeholders make you a valuable team member.
