Sales Director (m/w/d) Materialography and Hardness Testing

For this reason, we are looking for a Head of Sales / Sales Director (m/w/d) for materialography and hardness testing. As part of this internationally oriented position, which is associated with a high travel activity, a residence in the Cologne-Bonn or Westerwald area is recommended.

As Head of Sales / Sales Director (m/w/d), you take on a key role in our global growth and actively shape the future of our company. In this position, you will report directly to the CEO for materialography and hardness testing. They coordinate our three product areas materialography, hardness testing and consumables. In doing so, you continuously develop our sales strategy, identify new market potentials and optimize existing structures and tools – both nationally and internationally – to realize the company's growth goals. With a strong leadership competence, you will guide your area, which includes sales, product management, marketing and application technology with around 45 employees in Germany and Austria and promote a performance-oriented corporate culture. They lead our international distributors and, through their sovereign appearance, contribute significantly to the sustainable development of our global sales partner network. In addition, advance the development and active use of key figures and reports to control our sales activities (with Power-BI and Microsoft Dynamics CRM) to assess and increase the efficiency of our growing organization. Promote your targeted orientation and coordination of product management and marketing They are the continuous innovation dynamics of our house and make a valuable contribution to the sustainable competitiveness of our company.

A completed scientific or technical study as well as a well-founded business knowledge shape your profile – alternatively, you have an economic study with a pronounced technical understanding. They look back at a minimum of ten years of experience in the international technical distribution of laboratory and analytical equipment or related industries and have demonstrated their strong leadership skills. Your own initiative, pragmatism and the constant will to make changes sustainable are your personal strengths. Your working style is characterized by methodology and structure and you make decisions based on relevant key figures as well as tools (such as ERP, CRM or business intelligence systems). It is obvious to you that there is a reliable knowledge of German and English in word and writing, as well as a strong readiness for regular international service trips.
