The Federal Construction Department (BBA) is responsible for the completion of all the building matters of the Federal State in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. This includes, in particular, the planning and implementation of new, re- and extension structures and construction maintenance. Become part of the team for construction and act as a project leader in the implementation of construction measures from the listed stock to large new building projects on the federal civil and military properties in Hamburg, e.g. the properties of the Bundeswehrkrankenhaus, the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, the Technische Hilfswerk or the Zolls. With your work, you are vitally contributing to further strengthening Germany in the context of disaster protection and the alliance and national defence.

You manage and control construction measures of the federal government with a high degree of difficulty in all project stages according to AHO No. 9. The focus is on the upper performance phases (LP 5–9), are the first contact person:in project level for owner:in, builder:in, user:in, operator:in and within the federal construction department, ensure communication in the project and all stakeholders and create clarity in the interfaces; take the lead in the installation of project documents according to RBBau and advise with regard to the cost-effectiveness and quality of the construction design, work primarily in the selection and commissioning of contract engineers: inside and specialist companies and, as required, also take over HOAI services of the performance picture building and interior spaces.
