The GIB e.V. Social integration of people with disabilities is a nationally active institution in the field of integration aid and operates with around 350 employees diverse offers for people with mental illnesses and cognitive restrictions. At the Gransee site north of Berlin, the institution operates three facilities with a total of 65 seats in special housing forms and day-structuring offers. 150 employees are committed to individual participation here – with a clear orientation to professional standards and a participatory understanding of management. In this key position you have the overall responsibility for the content, human and economic management of the Gransee association. They take over the management and development of staff for around 150 employees, identify training needs and initiate targeted measures for the production and integration of skilled workers. They are responsible for the conceptual, technical and structural development of the offers within the meaning of the BTHG and implement social-space-oriented approaches in close cooperation with network partners on site. They are contact persons*in for legal advisors, relatives, authorities and bodies – and represent the association to the outside competently and legally binding. They actively contribute to the development of structural and organisational developments and shape the ongoing construction of the second leadership level as well as internal processes with a high presence on site. They maintain close cooperation with the management, the association Berlin and external partners and continuously develop internal and external interfaces.

They have a degree in rehabilitation education, social education, medical education, dipl. -Pedagogics or a related field. Multiannual management experience in the field of integration aid or comparable fields is required – combined with an understanding of economic relationships and human resources processes. They bring enthusiasm for change processes, innovation joy and the desire to actively build structures and to make them sustainable in the long term. Embossed communication skills, conflict security, and an appreciation of leadership as a model in dealing with the employees are the hallmark. You have a driving licence and the willingness to have a high presence on site as well as active network work in the community.
