Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,300 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. This dual study is conducted in cooperation with the University of Economics and Law in Berlin. While the theoretical knowledge is imparted to you at the University of Economics and Law in Berlin, you obtain the practical knowledge at the workplaces of the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH. This allows you to combine the practical application at work with a scientific study.
