Method Planner Shipbuilding Manufacturing Engineering (m/f/d)

For a sophisticated new building project in the maritime environment, we are looking for a dedicated personality that completely shapes the production process of complex ships. In this role you work in the field of manufacturing engineering and bring your technical experience into the field of construction methodology. You contribute to the planning and structuring of production processes and ensure that construction processes are clearly described, meaningfully coordinated and continuously improved – always with regard to quality, appointments and feasibility. Your tasks at a glance: You identify and analyze all the topics that are technically and organizationally relevant for the construction process and prepare them in a comprehensible manner. The creation and continuous maintenance of the construction methodology documents is part of your everyday work – from the first structure to the current update in the project history. You ensure that cross-design processes are better geared and processes interlock more efficiently. Experiences from completed projects (“Lessons Learned”) are evaluated by you and transferred specifically to follow-up projects and other construction projects. In coordination with manufacturing, construction, purchasing and external partners, you will participate in meetings and prepare them professionally. You support quality and risk management by identifying and structuring structural topics at an early stage. Regularly create review reports and project overviews or provide detailed support for reporting and presentations.

Complete technical studies (e.g. shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, industrial engineering or similar) or technical training (master/technician) Multiannual professional experience in the field of production (Schiffbau, Maschinenbau or Anlagenbau) Very good technical understanding of complex manufacturing processes Knowledge of processes on shipyards and in industrial production Structured, analytical and independent operation Organisational strength and rapid understanding Standing for national missions (approx. 10%)
