Key job responsibilities

• Head of your local team and company-wide collaboration with different teams
• Use of internal reporting tools to analyze data reports and causes to provide management with the necessary information for safety-relevant decisions
• Provision of instructions and organisation for work protection projects and policies
• Promoting programmes to improve safety culture at Amazon

A day in the life In this very versatile role, you work at one of our logistics locations and contribute directly to many aspects of our security culture. You manage the work protection standards and improve functionality and efficiency. You will also guide your team and help you implement changes based on employee feedback and the perception of opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Your role is crucial to ensure the safety and satisfaction of employees and to supervise their well-being and productivity. You take on and take responsibility for the protection of work to promote a culture that focuses on safe operation.

Basic qualifications

• Training with a degree of study or equivalent qualification in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and certification as a ''Safety for Work''
• Relevant experience in managing a team
• Relevant experience in compliance with local occupational safety laws
• Advanced English and German knowledge in word and writing Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methods
• Qualifications or experience in sustainability
• Relevant experience in communication with different stakeholders, including colleagues and executives
