• You will not only develop features, but you will design solutions that will have stock and make Bechtle's strengths digitally experienceable.
• Design of tailor-made web applications in varied projects for different customer needs and active codecision in selecting suitable technologies and solutions according to the respective requirements.
• You work in the JVM environment (e.g. Java, Scala, Groovy) and know common tools for microservices such as Docker, REST or Kafka.
• Joint takeover of responsibility for the services supervised - from the first commit to the operation to bug fixation and further development.
• You bring experience in the development and operation of modern applications, especially in the eCommerce environment, and you want to introduce your knowledge to the team.
• You're questioning existing ones, trying out new ones and bringing in your ideas to constantly improve our technologies and processes. Collaboration in a team where work at eye level is self-evident and takes responsibility together.

Your skills? More than interesting:

• Completed study in the IT field, a training as a specialist:in for application development - or brings a comparable qualification.
• You have experience in the JVM environment and ideally have already worked with search technologies such as Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack (ELK).
• Interest in discovering new technologies and developing solutions for complex requirements. Understanding business processes and enjoying agile cooperation.
• You have certain knowledge of German and English for everyday work.
• You bring team spirit, openness and joy to exchange and know that good ideas are emerging from different perspectives.
