The Group Risk Controller is responsible for identifying, measuring, controlling and monitoring the significant risks (in particular credit risk, market price risk, liquidity risk) within the DZ BANK Group. We ensure smooth processes that ensure that the risks of the DZ BANK Group are recognised, fully recorded and measured at an early stage. We agree with the risk measurement methods to be applied throughout the Group with the risk controlling of the Group's subsidiaries. Together with them, we are also responsible for Group-wide risk management and monitoring and inform the Management Board and the Supervisory Board about the current situation in all major risk types. We develop and operate risk and assessment models that meet both regulatory requirements and meet the latest economic standards. Our models are consistently developed on the basis of new methods (e.g. machine learning) and technologies (e.g. cloud solutions). As part of our team, an exciting environment with many interesting areas of application awaits you, as we have to deal with various topics of the bank and the financial industry. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual throughput plan, you will be active in the different units of the Group Risk Controlling division of DZ BANK. You also have the possibility to hospitate in different interface units outside the Group Risk Controlling area. The location of your activities is Frankfurt.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in full-time (summary 2.5 or better), preferably in the fields of economics, (economic) mathematics, (economic) information or physics. Your Master's degree will be short at the time of your application or will not be longer than 12 months. Through your good programming language skills, e.g. in R, Python or SQL, you can transfer your own methodic approaches quickly into usable analyses. You bring your distinct analytical skills to cope with not only KPIs, but also complex challenges. You have a quick understanding to quickly evaluate changing requirements from the daily business and to derive recommendations for action. You are strong in communication in German and English (min. C1 level) in writing and oral to safely represent your opinion to service providers and team members.

Perspective: You start with an unlimited contract and a salary of EUR 71,000 during and EUR 77,000 after the trainee program.
