You will design and implement strategies for the procurement of technologically highly complex, optical components

You adopt the strategy definition and leadership of extremely demanding contract and price negotiations at both national and international level and coordinate the negotiating team

You are responsible for and designing the entire contract portfolio of suppliers and take over reporting in higher management levels

You will observe procurement markets, be responsible for the request process with suppliers, participate in the selection of suppliers and perform supplier evaluation

Its responsibility also includes the determination of capacity requirements and the support of suppliers in building their capacities – an important step to promote efficient and stable supply chains

You have successfully completed your studies in the fields of economics or engineering and have been able to gain well-founded experience in supply chain management for several years as well as in the negotiation of complex facts

You will preferably bring knowledge in the field of strategic procurement of optical components, analysis of business and manufacturing processes and in capacity management

Furthermore, you have pronounced social skills, the ability to work effectively in the team, and strong communication and organizational skills – also in contact with the higher management

Your work is self-employed and you are able to capture very complex facts and solve them in a targeted manner

Good IT skills, especially in MS Office and SAP, are essential for performing your tasks

In addition, knowledge of German and English in word and writing is crucial to successfully act in a multicultural and multinational environment.
