Job description For our team of IT finances in the area of “Financial & Control”, we are looking for an IT consultant with a focus on cloud costs, which together with the team controls the cloud costs of AXA and lowers the digital carbon footprint of the cloud. You support the financial management of the cloud costs of AXA Germany (€>15 million) As part of the control, you make sure that the planning of quantities and costs has a high quality and that we keep our budget within the framework of the annual financial statements In addition, you are working on the fact that we have a high transparency in quantity and cost development and continuously identify and implement potentials to reduce our quantities and costs For this purpose, you will prepare meaningful analyses for our management, e.g., about the consumption of our systems and, in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders (IT Area Leads, POs, DevOps teams), guide action recommendations from them. You work on the (strategic) further development of our FinOps team and initiate process optimization in the cloud sector to make our workflows in the team and the organization more efficient You have to do with many national and international colleagues and build a large network: You work closely with the colleagues of the AXA Group Operations and the international FinOps Community and are in the Group with the IT Area Leads of Tribes and Local Product Managers

You have completed a degree in economics, (economic) computer science or (economic) mathematics or a comparable qualification You bring knowledge in finance, ideally in cost controlling, or knowledge about the functioning of IT and understanding the relationships between applications and IT infrastructure You have basic knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms. AWS or the willingness to work in deep here You have very high communicative skills for dealing with the different stakeholders at all levels of leadership and in the international environment You also have good analytical and methodological skills High commitment and willingness to design for the processes that are responsible in the team Very good knowledge of German and English for exchange and negotiations with the AXA GO complete your profile
