Head of Department IAMD Research & Technology (m/f/d)

In the Operations and Programs (DSOP) department Defence & Security (DS) head the IAMD Research & Technology department and report to the head of department Integrated air defense. The range of services of your department includes consulting, design (methods, operations, deployments and systems), design, engineering and sales of technical and non-technical solutions, as well as ability analysis for the customer/market segment Air Defence with a focus on ground-bound air defense and Missile Defence. You take responsibility for the business success of your department and contribute significantly to the overall success of the business unit. It is your task to consistently align your department with the needs of national and international customers.

Discipline management of staff:inside Planning, budget, sales and earnings responsibility of the department Technical and economic success control and quality responsibility of the projects or the service provision of the department Head of the department's acquisition activities, support of the department's acquisition and control of important offers and projects Establish and maintain communication relationships with industry and scientific institutes with the aim of acquiring and implementing joint projects and establishing strategic partnerships Construction and maintenance of customer relationships Monitoring including control of the department's budget, management of major projects Further development of the business bases Planning of internal research & development investments focusing on the development of attractive business opportunities Multiannual experience in the field of Disciplian leadership

Completed relevant specialist/university studies as well as relevant experiences in the area of Bundeswehr or comparable At least 6 years of professional experience as well as profound expertise and customer knowledge in the field of air defense with a focus on technologies, skill analyses and application procedures of systems of ground-based air defense and missile defence, as well as their subsystems (also multinational), of which at least 3 years of experience in the management of professionals and project management Military career as an officer in the field of anti-aircraft service or mission service would be ideal Comprehensive knowledge in the field of methods for determining needs and covering needs nationally and internationally expressed leadership and motivation in the interdisciplinary environment and with regard to different topics; Enforcement assets German and English
