As an Information Security Coordinator / IT Security Engineer (m/w/d), you actively contribute to the safe further development of our IT landscape. Working at the interface between modern IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, customer platforms and strategic digitization projects.

You continuously develop and improve the security level of our IT, cloud and hosting environments You support Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud solutions, as well as identity and authorization management You advise our specialist areas and project teams as savings partners and ensure that security by design is integrated into new projects at an early stage You accompany vulnerability, patching and hardening measures and work with the introduction of modern security solutions You identify vulnerabilities, analyze risks and accompany the processing of security incidents. From the findings obtained, you will derive appropriate improvement measures You actively participate in the further development of our Information Security Management (ISMS) and accompany audits and compliance requirements Together with our departments, you develop solutions that support information security and business success alike

You have a degree in (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification – as an alternative, a well-founded practical experience in IT security, IT operation or cloud services You bring multi-year professional experience in IT security, information security or IT infrastructure You have good knowledge of modern IT infrastructures, networks, operating systems and cloud technologies – preferably Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 You know relevant standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, BSI IT basic protection or CIS Controls You have knowledge in areas such as vulnerability management, web and application security, identity & access management, endpoint security as well as backup and recovery concepts You convince through analytical thinking, self-initiative, sense of responsibility and the ability to convey complex topics in a comprehensible way Very good knowledge of German in word and writing on at least. C1 level, as precise communication with internal interfaces as well as the creation/maintenance of documentation in German are essential components of the activity
