What does this mean: information security, BCM emergency management and outsourcing management? The area of information security is concerned with ensuring the availability, confidentiality and integrity of savings banks' assets. In this context, a variety of tasks can be performed, e.g. the management of information security risks, the development of security policies and the implementation of security measures, the monitoring and control in the form of audits, the training and awareness of employees, incident management, etc. The BCM emergency management (= business continuity management emergency management) is concerned with maintaining (time)critical business processes in emergency situations. Risks must be identified and effective emergency concepts must be established. The effectiveness and adequacy of these concepts is regularly checked by emergency exercises. The central outsourcing management has a predominantly coordinating, monitoring and supporting function in connection with outsourcing and other external assets over the entire life cycle. It takes care of the implementation and further development of appropriate control and monitoring processes.
