In this position, you actively shape the further development and implementation of our environmental, work and health standards and thus contribute to a safe and sustainable production environment. The focus of this role is clearly in the operational daily business: You work closely with the departments, accompany the implementation of measures and support the continuous improvement of our QESH processes. The position does not include disciplinary or professional management responsibilities and is aimed at people who want to introduce their expertise in a practical and operational manner.

Ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of ESH guidelines, procedures and standards in compliance with legal requirements and company-wide quality management systems Identification, evaluation and minimisation of ESH risks in production processes taking into account process reliability, stability and efficiency Development, implementation and documentation of ESH training as well as care for hazard assessments, hazardous substances and legal catastrophes implementation of incident management including notification, investigation (root Cause Analysis) and derivation and follow-up of correction and prevention measures; Planning and implementation of audits and visits Central contact person for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. authorities, auditors, customers) as well as support for certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 9001/9100) and promotion of proactive safety culture

Successfully completed vocational training with further qualification in the field of EHS, engineering or a comparable subject (or equivalent qualification) At least five years of professional experience in the EHS environment in industry or production, ideally in the chemical industry Found experience with management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) as well as in audits, compliance and continuous improvement Practical experience in risk assessments, accident analyses (including root cause analysis) and the development and implementation of training Very good knowledge of ESH regulators as well as pronounced analytical, structured working methods and secure communication skills in German and English
