Platform Engineer Software Asset Management (m/f/d)

Your tasks include building a structured asset management (SAM) software for the developer workstation and continuous development. You create transparency about software inventory, usage, costs, responsibilities and license models, and provide resilient decision bases for management. You support licensing and compliance audits as well as documentation of the system landscape, processes and technical interfaces. In addition, you analyze license, usage and cost data, identify optimization potentials and implement them. In addition, you will introduce measures to violate governance. You support compliance with licensing and contractual requirements, prepare manufacturer audits and accompany them. You can also plan and implement patches, updates, upgrades and system adaptations in cooperation with internal and external partners. You communicate about innovations to the SAM for the developer workstation in the relevant communities.

You bring a completed study or vocational training with additional qualification in business informatics, IT management, BWL / Purchasing / Controlling or a comparable discipline. Multiannual experience in license management and software asset management is a key feature. You have knowledge of license compliance, vulnerability management, international licensing requirements and manufacturer audits. You convince by analytical thinking, high number affinity, enforcement ability in compliance themes and reliable German and English. In the past, you could acquire an understanding of ITIL processes, in particular configuration, change and asset management. Good knowledge of German (min. level B2/C1) in word and font complete your profile.
