Engineer Network Management - Circuit Design (a*)

Annual, monthly and weekly schedules for the distribution network set up and coordinate workflows with internal departments and external partners, such as our transmission system operator. You develop emergency programs to ensure the supply, plan shutdown requirements for future years and tune the workflows with other departments. In case of disturbances in the high-voltage and medium-voltage network, you analyse hazard reports, initial information and fault reports and initiate the recovery measures. You accompany projects and new developments in the network control system and are involved in projects of great external importance, such as the construction of new substations and lines. In close cooperation with various departments, you work to continuously improve network operating strategies. The network parameters you monitor and are responsible for the generation and matching of the network calculation model. Opinions on technical policy issues are drafted, developed operational concepts and coordinates special systems such as the network forecasting system.

You have a completed (special) university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of professional experience in the field of network management. You are able to stay calm even under pressure, make decisions quickly and take responsibility. Your instructions are clear, precise and unambiguous – especially in critical situations. You are a reliable contact for our specialist departments and neighboring network operators. You have a well-founded knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines, and you're planning a safe handling of IT systems and ideally the first project experience. A pronounced communication and organizational capability as well as a service-oriented and team-ready operation. A safety check is also required for this body.
