Your varied study content You learn the theoretical and practical content for an engineering activity. The following core contents are to be selected: automation technology, sustainable energy systems and electromobility, information technology and technical information technology. In addition to the theoretical learning phases, your practical phases serve to optimize energy supply systems, as well as maintenance and troubleshooting on switching and control systems. You will gain insight into the design and calculation of the power supply including necessary protection technology and learn the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical plant, production and process equipment to ensure a smooth production process. In the period of 4.5 years, after 3 years, you will complete vocational training as an electronic technician for industrial engineering. Good to very good knowledge of mathematics, physics and computer science are absolutely necessary.
