Management of the public library (m/f/d)

Your working environment The city library Kornwestheim is integrated into the Cultural and Congress Centre Das K and thus part of a living and customer-friendly house. The city library is not only a sign of our city because of its diverse and varied media and events, but it is also a place of encounter, education and communication. The offer of 40,000 media units and the online library, as well as the diverse range of services are available to all residents and guests.

You take the lead of the library by organising processes and being responsible for budgeting. Together with other departments, departments and external institutions, you work together in partnership and represent the city library inside and outside. You are responsible for the inventory management of all media as well as the continuation of quality standards. In addition, you design the library's public work. This includes the design and implementation of events, the planning of advertising measures and the press and contact work. You take care of the power and financial management.

A completed study in Information Science / Library and Information Management Management skills and experience Good knowledge of current IT and specialist applications Economic planning and action Customer friendliness, service orientation and team work Intercultural competence, creativity and conceptual thinking Embossed service awareness and high time flexibility
