IT Project Engineer/Warehousing Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the further development and implementation of the EWN-based EPALKO software, thereby controlling cooperation with external IT service providers and testing implemented software programming for their applicability. You develop digital solutions for optimising the storage planning and the quota management and the exchange of quotas and thus make a significant contribution to the strategic supply of radioactive waste to the Konrad end camp. You analyse complex technical and logistical data sets, evaluate them taking into account end storage and transport requirements and derive sound recommendations for action. You support the administration and ensure the availability of the EPALKO databases and the associated IT infrastructure, taking into account security, availability and performance requirements. You develop and maintain algorithmic models for optimizing the storage logistics and implement the storage planning of waste bins IT-technically in EPALKO. You coordinate the technical coordination with internal and external project participants and represent the KTE as well as the EWN Group in specialist bodies and working groups with respect to the Bundesgesellschaft für Endlager (BGE), the Gesellschaft für Interimlager (BGZ) and other public institutions.

You have a master's degree in the field of computer science and/or in a technical or scientific degree course with IT focus, alternatively you can demonstrate the same knowledge in the described tasks on the basis of a Bachelor/Technist (m/w/d) and several years of professional experience. You bring well-founded knowledge of database maintenance and administration and ideally have experience with SQL databases, Microsoft Access and their interfaces. You have practical programming experience with object-oriented programming languages, ideally in .NET environment with focus C#, as well as in the development of database-based applications under T-SQL. You shall be prepared to incorporate into the final storage conditions of Konrad and into the transport rules for radioactive waste. You are characterised by an independent, solution-oriented approach and coordinate cooperation with internal and external project participants. You have German knowledge at least on C1 level and convince with a very good oral and written expressability.

The remuneration of the written position depends on the relevant collective agreements of the chemical industry of Baden-Württemberg. According to the Federal Compensation Agreement of the Chemical Industry Baden-Württemberg, the unit is classified in a range between the E 10 - E 11 T pay groups. On a full-time basis, this currently results in an estimated gross annual fee of between EUR 62,846 and EUR 87,585. This amount includes 12 monthly tariff fees and the annual tariff and the monthly tariff fee. The specific allocation of the grouping takes place according to the relevant tariff requirements.
