With more than 270,000 strokes per year and more than one million affected citizens, the stroke disease is a major challenge for the health system. The Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe is a central contact person for affected persons and employees and is committed to innovative solutions as well as improved stroke supply. The needs of the affected people are at the heart of our action.

A stroke tears people out of life. The first three to four hours decide on life, disability or death. The good news: 70 percent of strokes could be prevented in Germany. Therefore, target-group-oriented communication is a core task of the Foundation: We clarify symptoms as well as emergency behaviour and inform about risk factors as well as the positive effects of a healthy lifestyle. We also network stakeholders and work together with our partners for optimal processes in the supply chain.

For the field of integrated care, we are looking for a full-time employee in the field of integrated care from now on, initially limited for two years. Prevention (m/w/d)

Your duties Support and further development of existing prevention offers Prevention Communication (Expert Service for Press and Communication) Support and implementation of publicly active prevention activities Conception, initiation, implementation and evaluation of prevention projects Support for scientific project work (e.g. guidelines, supply research) Support for Care and Case Management Projects (Focus Secondary Prevention) Cooperation with project partners, service providers and network care Lecture and support of the general foundation work

Successfully completed study of health management or health communication with a focus on prevention or training in a comparable field in healthcare Master degree or comparable degree Experience in project management and scientific project work Professional experience in health and good knowledge of the German health system Very good communication skills in word and writing Willingness to cooperate with stroke events Willingness to travel
