Nursing Educator or Vocational Pedagogue for Health (ATA/OTA School)

As a nursing teacher or professional teacher at the ATA/OTA school of the Klinikum Nuremberg Academy, you play a central role in the qualification of future specialists in the surgery and anaesthesia sector. They combine pedagogical competence with professional know-how and develop modern, practical learning concepts for the training of anesthetic and surgical assistants.

Tasks:

• Planning, implementation and evaluation of theoretical and practical teaching in ATA/OTA training
• Development, implementation and continuous development of modern, competence-oriented curricula and teaching/learning concepts (including digital learning forms)
• Practical training and learning advice for trainees, including study level surveys, examinations and reflection talks
• Close cooperation with practical instructions and management teams of the functional areas OP and anaesthesia to ensure a high practical reference
• Cooperation in school and quality development processes, projects for digitization and further development of the Academy's educational offering

Requirements:

• Successfully completed three-year vocational training, e.g. as a nurse, health care and nursing caregiver, caregiver and/or a qualification in anaesthesia technology (ATA or specialist training intensive/anaesthesia) or in surgical technology (OTA or specialist training OP-Pflege)
• Complete study of nursing education, medical education or vocational education (Bachelor or Master)
• Multiannual professional experience in direct patient care, ideally in surgery or anaesthesia
• Representative pedagogical competence, joy in working with trainees and interest in innovative learning methods
• Secure handling of MS Office and digital teaching/learning platforms; Experiences with video conferencing tools and learning management systems are advantageous
• High social competence, team capacity, resilience and willingness to actively shape changes.
