For our consultancy in the House of the Diakonie Stade, we are looking for the first parental-time assignment. September 2026 Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in parttime only for our General Social Consultation (“Kirchenkreissozialarbeit”) with 25 hours – or in full time with pregnant and pregnancy conflict counselling with 13.5 hours. This place is limited until 31.12.2027 (optional extension). The Diakonieverband consists of several consultancy points and is supported by the two ev.-luth. Church circles Buxtehude and Stade - just half an hour drive from Hamburg in the beautiful Unterelbe-Landkreis Stade (“Altes Land”). With about 60 general and approx. We work 200 volunteers every day on the basis of the Christian human image with many support and counselling services throughout the Stade district. We understand our mission as a living charity and are committed to people who are on the brink of society who are dependent on help or disadvantaged.

General social counselling in all essential social issues - in particular according to SGB II, III, V, IX and XII, as well as assistance in case of application, opposition, mediation of further assistance, psychosocial counselling Preparation and decision of applications for aid from various social funds for deprived persons (family, children, young people, individuals, refugees) Common-Diacony as well as interface function for and cooperation with the parishes of the Church of Buxtehude Network work in the social area of the Stade County as well as with the consultancy offices in the Diakonieverband (education counselling, marriage, couple and life counselling, debt counselling, addiction counselling, honorary and more) Advice and mediation of mother-child or mother-child Father-Kind courses Active participation in social projects and events for vulnerable and help seekers Perception of representative dates in the external appearance The tasks of pregnant and pregnancy conflict counselling include: Pregnant counselling on emotional, financial, professional, temporal issues related to pregnancy, birth and baby Pregnancy Conflict Consultancy in Decision-making, Monitoring in Crisis or After Pregnancy Abruption, Consultation in accordance with § 219 Criminal Code Network work on other social partners Advice on prenatal diagnostics Remarkable: Advice to carry out confidential birth
