Business Application Consultant Inhouse (m/f/d)

Understand and translate: You are a central contact person for all areas of business applications (including ERP, CRM). You understand the business processes, speak the language of the users and translate requirements into meaningful system solutions. Analyze and guess: Together with the departments you analyze problems, Pain Points and new needs. You appear as a Sparring partner at eye level and develop pragmatic, technical and technically coherent solution scenarios. Conversion and Customizing: You implement the jointly developed solutions independently in the system – largely internally within the framework of the standard-customizing possibilities of our applications. Programming is not necessary, technical understanding already. Project management and introduction of new systems: You guide and accompany projects of any size – from smaller optimizations to the selection and introduction of new business applications. You control internal and, if necessary, external participants, keep the project objectives in mind and ensure a successful implementation Operation, Changes and Support: You are responsible for changes in existing systems, take system care and maintenance and do not have any barbarity in support requests or problem tickets. You go to problems, find sustainable solutions and document them in a comprehensible way for users and colleagues.

You have completed a degree in business informatics or a comparable training in IT. You have several years of experience in the implementation of business processes in business applications and in project management. Ideally, you have experience in the ERP environment of a medium-sized manufacturing company; CRM identifiers are advantageous. You bring a strong technical understanding and move safely into customizing, configuration and technical details of business applications. You have very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills. You think business, understand end-to-end processes (e.g. sales, purchasing, manufacturing, material management) and can translate them into systems. You are close to the users, you can pick up requirements, critically question, analyze and structure – and, if necessary, limit them in a sensible way or translate them into realistic, clean solutions. You draw your attention through curiosity and stubbornness and enjoy developing robust technical solutions for challenging questions.
