For the supervision and advice of our prevention department, we are looking for two Dipl.-Ing. (Univ./TH/TU), M.Eng. or M.Sc. (m/w/d) Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable as supervisors for supervisory areas in the western and middle part of the northern Lower Saxony.

Supervision and advice on all issues of occupational safety and health in the member companies of the fine-mechanical and electrotechnical industry in the supervisory district. Partnershipal development of solutions to identified deficiencies as part of on-site business visits. To ensure the independent compliance of the required safety standards by the companies. carry out accident investigations and identify the effects on insured persons in cases of suspected occupational diseases. Conception and implementation of training and presentations for entrepreneurs, supervisors and insurers in BG ETEM training centres and member companies. Creation of contributions for publications in the field of occupational and health protection.

A completed scientific university degree (Dipl. Ing. (Univ./TH/TU), M. Eng. or M. Sc.) preferably in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree course. A completed training to the supervisor is advantageous; if not available, we encourage you with a two-year training in Cologne. At least two years of professional experience in an industrial or commercial enterprise. Experience in wind energy, also offshore, and in electrical power supply is advantageous. Willingness to keep training at the BG ETEM educational sites. Friendly, safe and sovereign appearance. Teamability and a good balance between cooperation and conflictability. Ability to analyze complex relationships and summarize them in word and writing. Organisational skills and a high degree of self-responsibility. Very good knowledge of the German language in word and writing (at least level C2 of the common European reference framework for languages). Good MS Office knowledge. Class B licence. Ready to frequent several days of service trips throughout the federal territory. The residence (later office) is located in the above-mentioned supervisory area.

The compensation is provided for the place in the remuneration group 13 BG-AT. In the case of successfully completed training to the supervisor, the possibility of taking over into an official's relationship with the grade A 13 BBesG exists when fulfilling the requirements of the runway law and taking into account the job plan.
