Migration Expert (m/f/d)

As a Migration Expert, you are responsible for the technical planning and implementation of shop migrations on the OXID eShop. You analyze existing systems, develop migration strategies and help our partners and customers to move smoothly – including data, modules and individual adjustments. A central role in the migration of customer systems to the latest OXID eShop platform – in close cooperation with partners, customers and internal teams. Responsibility for the technical implementation of database and system migrations as well as the (AI-based) development of suitable solutions for individual customer requirements. Work with a modern technology stack: PHP, Symfony, MySQL. Interface function within OXID – you’ll ensure a smooth flow of information between RnD, Support, SolMgmt and OSC Direct exchange with external partners and customers to ensure successful migration and long-term system stability. Analysis, optimization and adaptation of existing shop systems to new technological standards.

Very good technical skills in PHP, Symfony and MySQL as well as experience in the development and optimization of shop systems. Finded OXID experiences ideally of version 5.6 and 7 Experience with shop migrations or comparable technical projects ideally using AI. Knowledge of databases, APIs and system architectures. Experience in cooperation with external partners and customers and at best with international teams. Understanding the processes within a software company and the ability to act as an interface between the internal departments. Good analytical skills and a solution-oriented way of thinking. Safe and professional appearance in communication with customers and partners. Self-employed, proactive working with team spirit and communication strength.
